Well, this post is late, but I wanted you all to see how much fun I had on New Year´s 2007/2008! I was in San Salvador with Ramfis and his family, and my welcome back to ES present was to help paint their living room...hahaha, it was fun cuz I love to paint.

On the 31st we went to the volcano of San Salvador´s crater. It´s huge, and that was so much fun. Then, on the way back we stopped at this small fair in a village and bought some corn on the cob and overlooked the city and all of it´s lights.

Then, we went with the kids to buy fireworks ( large selection), which everyone does for New Year´s. After we ate tacos as a family, at midnight everyone gave hugs, and then we shot off firecrackers, along with everyone else in the country (it sounded like a war!).

Then, around 1:30 Ramfis and I went dancing until 5:30 am. Needless to say, the next morning became the afternoon. We didn´t wake up until like 4p.m.!! It was a great New Year´s because I was able to spend it with someone I love and also experience what it´s like to celebrate in another country!!
